On Monday we went outside again to look at the 'deep cold river'. We checked the Peedie Sea for ripples and waves. Then we explored water and played with different sized jugs. We learnt about sinking and floating. We had great fun!
This has always been one of Kally's favourite books so it was good to see you outside reinacting the story. Everyone looked like they were enjoying the outdoor learning experience.
This year we have been finding out about food around the world, Fair Trade and chocolate production in Ghana.
We have also found out a bit about songs and music in Ghana from the Kuapa KoKoo webcasts. We have joined Rafi.ki Kidogo and published some of what we have done on our class page there with a link to this blog. We hope that a school in Ghana will look at that work and get in touch.
Meantime we hope you enjoy our blog.
